Nenthead Community - This site is operated by the community of Nenthead. It exists primarily as an information resource for various local projects and groups.

Cybermoor – is the website for the local community of Alston Moor with all the local news and information  

Nenthead Mines - a museum dedicated to both showing and telling the 'story' of the mineral mining past of the North Pennines. Learn more about the people, places, tools, lifestyle, and legacy of the mining industry that at one time completely dominated the landscape of the North Pennines!

The Mine Explorer Society – comprehensive information on exploring the mines of Nenthead.

Mark Fern – Marks based in Nenthead on the C2C route and has over 35 years of experience of bicycle repairs – particularly those of an emergency. It’s recommended that you jot down his number (01434 382194) before you set out on the C2C.

John Payne – John has been in the upholstery trade for over 40 years, 25 of them here in Alston in the north Pennines of Cumbria. If you require the services of an experienced and versatile upholsterer have a look at his site and pop in and visit him at his workshop.

Rock House Estate - is about 100 acres between Alston & Nenthead and consists of 5 country cottages ranging from a cosy cottage for 2 up to a farmhouse for 14.

Black Sheep Brewery – even though the Black Sheep Brewery is only 14 years old it is a name synonymous with all those who enjoy a drop of real ale.

Allendale Brew Co Ltd – is based in Allendale, South West Northumberland. They brewed their first batch of beer on St. Valentine's Day, 14th of February 2006. This was the first commercial brewing of beer in Allendale since the closure of the original Allendale Brewery in 1887. They offer five ales ranging from a 3.8% ABV session beer to a 5.5% ABV full-bodied beer.

Tirril Brewery Limited – offer five ales ranging from a 3.8% ABV Brewsher's Best Bitter to a 4.2% ABV Academy Ale.

Sustrans - is the UK's leading sustainable transport charity. The charity was founded in 1977, by a group of people in Bristol keen to work towards a future in which people travel in ways that benefit their health and our environment. The first route was Completed in 1984 a 17-mile traffic-free trail along a disused Bristol & Bath railway. By 2005 a network of 10,000 miles was reached.  

C2C Guide - the site is a resource centre for the C2C cycle route in the North of England, primarily to help and advise newcomers to the route, but also as a reminder to the many 'veterans' of the route exactly what it is about the C2C that makes it so enjoyable.
