Celebrating 20 years at the Miners

Return to Home

On Friday February 26th 1988 we moved from Ashford (Middlesex) 300 miles north to Nenthead to run the Miners Arms. It has to be said it was quite a brave move as there was very little experience of working in a pub (let alone running one) in the Clark family. However on the 23rd February 2008 we had a party to celebrate 20 years as hosts at the Miners Arms. Below is an article taken from The Cumberland News Friday February 15th 2008 and below that some photo taken from the party!
